Privacy policy

What this site is

FerNode is a downloadable Windows app for managing Minecraft servers. This website provides the app download, release details, a library of Minecraft plugins, screenshots and links to the creator’s social channels. You can browse and download without creating an account.

Information we collect directly

This website has no account system, contact form or newsletter, and we do not ask you for personal information. If you contact us through YouTube, GitHub or another platform, that platform’s privacy policy applies to the message and account details you use there.

Advertising and cookies

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. This may include your IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, and the pages you visit.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google’s Privacy & Terms. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Opting out does not necessarily mean you will see no ads; it means the ads you see may be less relevant to you.

Where required by law, a consent message provided by Google will appear before advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice through that message or your browser’s cookie controls. We do not sell personal information collected through this website.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by a third-party hosting provider. Like most web servers, it may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested files and timestamps for security, reliability and abuse prevention. These logs are not used by us to identify individual visitors and are not combined with advertising data by us.

Downloads

App and plugin download links point to files served by this site or its hosting provider. The hosting provider may record the request as described above. FerNode runs locally on your Windows PC, and the plugins run on your own Minecraft server; this policy covers this website, not data that the desktop app or a plugin may store locally after installation. Plugin downloads are provided as-is, and you should back up your server before installing or replacing any plugin.

Third-party links

This site links to YouTube, GitHub, Pinterest, Google and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us through the YouTube channel below so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or its advertising changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies.
